100A current transformer
By: Iain Macleod on 5 April 2020This seems to work as I expected. I want to use this device to control loads in my house so that I don't exceed the power being generated by my 6.6kW solar panels. I want to synchronously rectify the current waveform in relation to the voltage waveform so that I can work out the direction of power flow (from the grid to my house or vice versa). I've yet to test the current transformer to see what, if any, phase difference there is between the actual and indicated current (because this will affect my calculation of the direction of power flow).
