Perfect for Different Resolution Displays
Connecting a 4K HDMI Source such as a Foxtel IQ4, PS4 Pro or XBOX One S to multiple LCD Displays with varying resolutions can be rather frustrating. The 4K HDMI source detects the highest resolution and displays this HDMI signals across all LCD Displays connected. With this 2 Way HDMI 2.0 Splitter with Down Scaler, you are able to output a 4K and 1080P resolutions across 2 Displays connected to the HDMI Splitter. Also supports HDR and has HDCP Stripper / Converter to allows connectivity to older LCD's and TV's with earlier HDCP versions.

A great little unit that does exactly what it says
By: Trevor Andrew on 27 May 2021Purchased this unit because I've got a Fetch Mighty that is now capable of 4K, which looks great on my beautiful 4K TV. But, I was previously "splitting" the output from the Fetch Mighty 4K through a "cheap and nasty" HDMI splitter that forced the Fetch Mighty, when set to auto, to "step down" to the lowest common denominator resolution of 1080p - the highest resolution which the old TV on the other side of this older splitter could manage - even though the splitter was *notionally* capable of splitting 4K content. So when I was looking for a more "sophisticated" splitter that could negotiate separate resolutions on either HDMI output, I found this one whose description seemed to match exactly what I needed. And yes it does - It works flawlessly! The Fetch 4K is totally unaware that anywhere "downstream" is not capable of 4K, and my old secondary 1080p capable TV works just fine, while my primary TV looks great at full 4K. It's a great little unit, very well made, and does exactly what it claims to. Highly recommended.

They were right and i am very happy with the purchase. The transaction was very smooth and the communication regarding delivery was excellent

Works great with 4K projector & 2k TV
By: Colin on 28 August 2020Had ours for over 6mths and it hasn’t missed a beat feeding the 4K projector and downscaling to the HDTV. Only issue is it can be slow negotiating between the source and the two different outputs, sometimes upto 20sec of no signal and if you turn either alternate output on during playback you get lost signal for that period while it re-negotiates. Otherwise a great little device at a good price and super easy to install and use. Purchase and delivery was faultless.
