This is an infra-red emitting Diode which produces near -infrared Light ( black light ). Mainly used in a variety of optical switches, remote transmitter circuit. Infrared emission control structures. Typically gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode (GaAs), gallium aluminum arsenic (GaAlAs) and other materials, with full transparent or light blue, black resin package .
