Pro Mini ATMEGA328P Development Board for Arduino
By: Stephen White on 4 November 2022I love these little BrainBoxes. Small enough to fit anywhere. Inbuilt short circuit protection. Generous amount of inputs. Plenty of outputs with grunt. Runs on a trickle for power. Enormous amount of onboard memory for its size. Cheap as chips. And, with the 'C' library, can interface with anything.

Arduino ProMini
By: Stephen White on 18 August 2021I can't resist using these little beauties. On my model railway, I used these for a complete DCC controller/programmer system ($50AU), controlling all signals, working on points with servos. Also looking at RF24 radio comms. You can do a lot with these modules. The smaller memory space still allows for more projects than you would think.

Arduino promini
By: Stephen White on 5 April 2020A fantastic package for electronics. Easily programmed via its USB I/F adapter. Fits nicely onto Veroboard (female pins required). Perfect for smallish applications where 8 I/P's and 10 O/P's are available. I often mount 2 x proMinis onto a Bd to provide double the I/P's and O/P's. My main use is for my model train layout, but I have also built other devices for general purpose use (tools etc).
